Below is a list of some of the national fellowships for graduate students in the atmospheric sciences. Both current and prospective students are encouraged to apply for these prestigious awards.     Fellowships are available for both prospective and current graduate students.

    Current students who are in the second-to-last year of their Ph.D. can apply.
    The dissertation fellowships provide one year of support for individuals working to complete a dissertation leading to a Ph.D degree. The Ford Foundation Dissertation Fellowship is intended to support the final year of writing and defense of the dissertation.
