We have several PhD research assistantships available for 2026. Prospective students are welcome to reach out to any individual faculty member or the graduate program director to learn more. Applications for assistantship positions must be submitted directly to the Rosenstiel School Graduate Studies Office using the instructions available here.
The majority of PhD students are supported as Graduate Research Assistants during their tenure (typically 5 years). These assistantships cover the cost of attendance and living expenses. They provide an annual salary, tuition and health insurance. The total of cost of attendance is available here.
